When it comes to building top rated towers the aptly named Major Development company is a leading player, writes Dave Buckley.
With a list as long as your arm of towers built in Bangkok to its credit the company truly is a major player.
Just look at these names ...
Major have built Hampton Thonglor 10, Fullerton Sukhumvit, Manhattan Chidlom, Aguston Sukhumvit 22 among others in the nation’s capital plus two low-rise special developments – Mykonos and Marrakesh – in Hua Hin.
Now the developers have turned their attention to Pattaya and the impact here is likely to be significant. Their twin-tower project, Reflection, is brim-full with innovation, quality and class.

Iconic architecture
It only takes one look at the planned buildings to see why they claim iconic architecture which will “become a new landmark of Pattaya”.
The one closest to the sea, Oceanfront Tower, offers private keycard elevators and has only two units on each floor. Just a little more setback is the Oceanview Tower with seven units per floor.
In what the company calls “the ultimate oceanfront living experience” the Oceanfront Tower will boast: Full-height glass offering unobstructed ocean and sky views in every unit; spacious private balconies with panoramic views and Jacuzzi in every regular unit; private pools and gardens in every penthouse unit and special moon roof corner window in every unit.

Standard specification
That’s Oceanfront Tower. In Oceanview Tower the units are smaller (and their prices reflect this) but still the units have balconies with Jacuzzis on them and the standard specification for rooms in both towers (see list overleaf) is high quality everywhere.
The communal facilities possibly exceed what one would expect from a top development. Yes the fitness rooms (one for each tower) and an array of swimming pools are there. So, too, are separate male and female steam and sauna rooms.
Add a grass jogging trail and a water cave, water tunnel and water slide plus two tennis courts and the list of facilities starts to seem never ending.
The latest technology will also be employed to secure the grounds and you can bet that the attention to detail in the building will be spot-on.
Just a little example ... I noticed when I went to look around the showrooms that the pole-mounted power cables running along the beach road had been buried beneath the pavement for the width of the project.
That’s how keen they are that all have a good sea view.
