If you want to try to get an impression of what it might be like to live in an Ananya development I suggest you get down to their beachfront restaurant at the market end of the Naklua Road about half an hour before sundown and dine there, writes Dave Buckley.
I did this just the weekend before I wrote this article and experienced a most spectacular display as the sun disappeared behind ominous-looking black clouds†.
That visit and the quality of the food gave me a better understanding of what the developers are on about when they start talking about “enjoying the benefits of an Ananya lifestyle”.
The restaurant, the Mumaroi, was built next to Phases 1 & 2 which were launched some six years ago and completed ahead of schedule. These sold out within a matter of months to Thai and Japanese buyers with little or no advertising – so much so that many local property agents didn’t even know of the project.
Now the company is marketing Phases 3 & 4 which have been built a little further along the beach near the Pullman Pattaya Aisawan.
Desirable locations
Ananya describe themselves as developers of luxury, low-rise condominiums, “situated only in the most desirable beachfront locations”. Their properties lie direct on the beachfront with their own beach access.
A spokesman said: “Our properties are modern and luxurious and offer a true five-star living experience. The design philosophy is to keep things exclusive, using large parcels of land and constructing low-rise buildings to maximise the green areas as well to heighten the overall living experience.”
Increasing investment
Only the latest design techniques, construction methods and Grade A building materials are used, they say, to ensure the buildings stand the test of time. This also provides customers with, not only a world class living experience, but also an ever-increasing investment.
Ananya Beachfront Condominium phases 3 & 4 are ready to move in. They lie in a stunning location surrounded by luxury five-star hotels and restaurants in one of the quieter and more sophisticated areas of the city.
However, central Pattaya with its world class restaurants, shopping and vibrant nightlife are just minutes away.
The development has its own beach and a stunning 77-metre infinity-edged swimming pool which runs the length of the building down to the shoreline. Underground parking, CCTV, patrolling security and keycard access are some of the standard features associated with the project.
Phase 3 rooms all have a sea view and Phase 4 has a selection of beach and stunning city panoramic views.

In the highest price range a stunning 315sqm three-bedroom unit with its own 16x6 metre private swimming pool with amazing sea views and direct views into the communal 77 metre swimming pool is available at Bt32m. “This represents incredible value for money at just Bt105,000 per sqm,” said the spokesman. At the entry level a one-bedroom 80sqm unit can be bought at just over Bt6m.
Only five units in each phase are remaining for foreign ownership. Ω
† Thinking of visiting the restaurant? Be aware that the combination of good food and reasonable prices means the restaurant is very popular at weekends so maybe it would be best to contemplate a mid-week trip. Phases 3 and 4 do not have a restaurant.
