This month sees the launch of yet another development from the prolific Ratanakorn company, writes John Davids.
Ratanakorn markets its housing projects under several different brands such as Life Condo, TW Condo, Ratanakorn Home and TW Home. The newest launch is under the banner of the latter.
Called TW Wanasin Village, the latest addition to the bulging Ratanakorn portfolio will be a 77-home, 65 rai development just off the Siam Country Club Road.
The location
Those familiar with the road should know the Kiss restaurant. TW Wanasin Village lies just a little further up the road on the right a little way down a soi which links through to Nern Plub Wan. A street market can currently be found on the corner. Phase 2 will include shop houses on Soi Siam Country Club and on the soi leading to the project’s entrance.
The showhouse for Phase 1 should be available for viewing within days of this magazine appearing.
House types range from two-four bedrooms, single and double storey. Prices start at Bt3.6m and a four-bed is priced at Bt5.7m. Houses with and without a pool are available. Some are built already but the majority will be built to order, allowing prospective owners to add their own individual touches.
Communal facilities
Wanasin has families very much in mind and among communal facilities available will be a clubhouse with gardens and a children’s play area. Buyers will be asked to pay 30 per cent on contract and the balance on completion of construction, which is typically six-eight months.
Soi Siam Country Club has proved popular with developers in recent years and is now lined with housing villages.
Its proximity to Lake Mabprachan and the golf course of the same name are big plusses for many.
Easy access
The road links easily to Highway 7 and the 331 Road which means easy access to industrial parks, the international school and many other top quality golf courses.
The position of the Country Club road means it is regarded by many as the “spine” of the so-called Dark Side of Pattaya. I can’t help feeling that the introduction of projects like Wanasin and several others on this road can only serve to brighten up the Dark Side! Ω

sales office now open in central location
A new central sales office serving all of Ratanakorn’s housing and condominium projects has been open for a short time now.
The office is situated about 100 yards back from Third Road in the TW Condominium Plaza which is behind a branch of the Kasikorn Bank. The bank is on the right hand side of the road as you travel from Pattaya Central (Klang) to Pattaya North (Nua).
Director of sales and marketing Mukesh Thakkar is based in the office. He said: “I’m pleased to say we are putting a strong team together here now and we look forward to receiving visitors.
“The office serves all the company’s projects. So those interested in TW Wanasin Village should come to see us here and we will happily take prospective customers out to visit this or any other Ratanakorn development.”
The new office is also close to where Ratanakorn plans to build the tallest condo block in the central area – Life Star City Tower. A showroom for this opens soon in the office.
