October is a big month for owners and investors in The Urban development which lies between Second Road and Soi Buakhow.
That’s because this month they can really start thinking about the day they can move into their new centrally-positioned condo.
At the start of the month the developers, Royal Oak Development Co Ltd, began inviting owners to view their apartments to check that all is to their satisfaction and liking.
The Urban sales team are showing owners around to note their comments. Once any snags have been resolved owners can start to seriously think about when they can move in.
Transfers will start in December though Royal Oak says it may be able to do this before if buyers are ready. Royal Oak says it hopes to have everyone content and taking up residence before the year end.
Most of the floors of both buildings have been completed and it is just small items that need working on. At the time of writing the focus was on communal areas such as the reception and gym plus the overall landscaping.
The Urban Suites
What of The Urban Suites which are being built at the front of the development? These are coming along well and the builders are making progress at almost a floor per week so Royal Oak expects to have the shell of The Urban Suites complete around the same time as the first The Urban owners are starting to move in.
Sales at the Suites are progressing well with 50 per cent of the units sold. The show suite promoting both the remaining few unsold units in The Urban and the balance of units at The Urban Suites awaits visitors in Tower B of The Urban and just across the way the sales office is on the second floor of Tower A.
The Urban Suites epitomises modern style luxury living with attributes such as two pools – one on the roof; the other on the ground floor available to owners. Amenities such as fitness spa and sauna, library, business centre, jogging track and coffee shop will be available to owners of both The Urban and The Urban Suites.
Units in a foreign name remain available at The Urban Suites. On-site sales representatives can give you details.
Also, Royal Oak’s bankers may be able to help with mortgages on units sold to both foreign and Thai nationals. Ask the sales representative for more details.
All amenities
The development is close to many of the city’s amenities such as The Avenue shopping, the beach and the nightlife, but just far enough away to be peaceful.
A spokesman for Royal Oak said: “We are delighted that we are close to welcoming owners to our development.
“It’s great to see the development really taking shape now and we are sure owners will be delighted with what they have bought.” Ω
