The Professional Standards Committee led by Mark Welch from One Stop Real Estate announced the completion of a major update to the Rules and Regulations of the Association.
The update brings into effect the country’s first set of arbitration and dispute resolution rules for an association of this type.
The voting for approval of the rules was a formality with a unanimous vote agreeing with the rules followed by a vote of thanks to Mark and his team for all their hard work.
The Education and Training committee announced that there will be a training session for members and non members alike from 13th to the 15th November 2009.
They were also pleased to announce that early in 2010 there will be training by an international real estate professional for residential real estate agents wishing to improve their standard of service and professionalism. More on this training to come at a later date.
Kevin Pullen, on behalf of the public relations committee, then announced that the new logo for REBA-ES was almost complete as the committee had prepared a short list for approval by the board. The new logo was expected to be ready for the next monthly meeting.
Also discussed was an addition to the REBA-ES website that would allow for a forum for all members.
Unfortunately, due to work commitments of the board members and lack of available dates prior to the Christmas holidays, it was announced that the charity event scheduled for later this year has been rescheduled for early in 2010.
A new member to the group, Sayama Real Estate was welcomed by the meeting attendees. Sayama have been in business for quite a while already and have a large following of Russian Federation customers.
The meeting was rounded off with a presentation on Sedona Villas (pictured) by Mary Walsh of Benchmark Property. Sedona are a privately funded development of ultra luxury villas in the Pong district of Nong Prue. Ω
