Aspecial promotion offering financing for up to five years at 0 per cent interest has been launched by the Iguana group of developers.
The move is designed to give an added boost to the already buoyant sales at their three condo projects which are at different stages of construction.
Payment timescales vary. At Hyde Park Residence 2 the finance is available for up the five years; this drops to three years for Sunset Boulevard and two at Park Lane.
Iguana managing director Miki Haim said: “Our projects offer the best investments in Pattaya and we are using our own financing to make it easier for investors to enjoy the benefits of owning in one of our developments.
“Customers who regularly visit our projects say they can’t believe the high rate of progress at the sites.
“At Sunset Boulevard, for example, we are making significant progress and we are already up to the third floor there.”

Units in re-sale
He added: “At Park Lane in Jomtien we have started selling Building 4. Buildings 1 and 2 are sold out with some units already in re-sale.”
In total, two-thirds of the 608 units planned for Park Lane have been sold.
Miki said: “At Hyde Park 2 the apartments will be truly beautiful. Sales there have increased by 20 per cent recently and I think its probably the best investment in Pattaya for renting or re-sale. Why? Because of its location (on Thappraya Soi 4), the quality of the units, the prices and our repayment plan.”
Those taking the financing package at Hyde Park 2 will be looking at putting 30 per cent of the price down, then six months later they start the first of their 54 monthly payments.
“Investors can pay quarterly if they prefer,” said Miki, “we are able to be very flexible.”
The finance package sets no age limit because no banks are involved. Also, other than the unit itself no other security is required on the loan.

Buy you lunch
Another nice touch Iguana have introduced is the “take a private tour of our projects and we’ll buy you lunch” idea. Obviously this is not aimed at people just looking for a free meal but at serious investors.
Miki added: “Recently we have had instances where buyers have resold and got a 50 per cent increase on their investment just 12 months down the line.” Ω
