Central localtion with Carrefour on the doorstep...

......When some projects claim to be “close” to a landmark there have been times when I’ve thought “well I’d hate to be far away”, writes John Davids.
Not so with the Apus Condominium development in Pattaya Central. When they say they are close to Carrefour that’s no exaggeration. The entrance to the big shopping complex lies just a few metres away and within eyesight. Now that’s close!
Two minutes around the corner you will find Foodland and 10 minutes away is the Central Festival plaza.
The Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital is about 15 minutes away and access to Siam Country Club golf is a whole lot easier now lights have been put in at the junction of Sukhumvit and Soi Siam Country Club. Offices for public utilities are also nearby.
But, of course, it’s not just proximity to other places that the development wants to be known for. The developers, Waree Sap and Waree Jinda Companies, are keen to emphasise that the actual apartments have a lot going for them. And, having visited their showrooms, I think they are justified in their claims.

Sea breezes
The project consists of two buildings which, together, form a U-shape designed to capture the breezes as they come off the sea.
Apartment designs are modern with quality materials used. All stretch out along a single corridor so no neighbours can be found opposite. Each unit enjoys a large balcony with views to the large swimming pool below.
The pool will use a salt water system which should reduce smells and be better for swimmers’ skin, hair and eyes.
The plot occupies 7,000 sqm (a little more than four rai) but only 158 units will be built there. Construction work started early this year and completion is projected for next August.

Fitness centres
Two elevators will serve each building and there will be private underground parking for more than 80 cars. Each will also have a fitness centre on the ground floor with key card access.
Another nice touch that will be appreciated is that the air-conditioning ventilators will be sited on the communal corridor leaving the balcony areas to the opposite side of the apartment free of noise and heat.
For the protection of residents round-the-clock security will be in operation with closed-circuit TV (CCTV) cameras also covering
the project.
The developers say: “Apus is in a smart location in the centre of Pattaya where residents can enjoy the good life.
“We are experts in interior design and can offer owners help in this area. The kitchen technology we use is revolutionary, too.”
They add: “We offer a chanute title – the most secure land title in Thailand – to customers for extra peace of mind.” Ω
