The Village has much in store.

......The all-new The Village Shopping Centre is open. A “soft” launch was held in early February and plans are in hand for a super-launch in the near future.
The centre not only fills a need in the community, it also provides a niche that was previously missing – a boutique shopping venue, reminiscent of those in Bangkok.
The Village Shopping Centre is an authentic lifestyle destination, a veritable ‘shopping and entertainment centre for all seasons’.
The Village is in a prime location, on the corner of Soi Chaiyapruk and Sukhumvit Road, Jomtien, 1.5km from Jomtien Beach, sufficiently distant from the centre of Pattaya to avoid traffic congestion but not far enough to be considered out of town.

Parking of all types
Ample parking is provided – in more ways than one. The comprehensive facilities means you can park your car in the 300-capacity car park, park the kids in one of the two children’s playgrounds and even park the dog at the pet care and kennelling service centre while you take off and indulge in a shopping spree, or simply relax under the trees with a drink and enjoy the live entertainment.
Yes, The Village is much more than just a shopping centre. It features a traditional-style floating food market, waterside cafés and restaurants, boutiques and specialist shops on two floors, a supermarket, cafés and a wine bar, daily entertainments and events; all this set in the midst of beautifully landscaped gardens, with fountains and fish ponds.
As such, it caters to all the needs of a family, to tourists and weekend visitors, especially from Bangkok, and last, but not least, singles. In short, it has real universal appeal.
The floating food market hosts 30 boats offering authentic Thai meals, snacks and desserts. Patrons are able to choose from a variety of dishes in an appealing setting.
In addition, a Thai restaurant in the centre of the complex affords relaxed eating under cover.
Western culinary tastes will also be well catered for by Casa Italia – Italian/Thai cuisine and the Fat Boy Diner – American cuisine; Indian cuisine will be provided by Spicy Maharajah, whereas Apple’s Fine Fish and Deli will supply specialist foods, and the Continental Bakery, bread pastries and cakes.
For those with a sweet tooth there’s an ice cream and dessert café and coffee lovers will have the choice of Coffee Corner – Italian coffee and Doi Chaang – Thai coffee.
For the alcoholic or soft drink aficionado there’s a Wine Bar and Cello Bar/Café.
Personal pampering and beauty care will be provided by Aromatic Studio – Spa and Beauty, Lapis Tropical Spa Products – beauty and skin care, while Sunisa Salon will provide hair care. Jewellery will be catered for by Kit-Ti and Parn-Sarn, who will also sell cosmetics.
Fashion stores will be represented by Ziba Moda, Chattara, Tops ’n’ Bottoms, Flight Tag, Phuket Mermaids and Chartage - Ladies Fashion Accessories.
For the home, Sun Décor will offer custom furniture, Just Buddha, ornaments, and Aden, ornaments and gifts.
Other accessory stores will include Patchara – timepieces, and Footloose - Brazilian footwear.
Other stores include Flower4more, a florist, and the Green Tree garden centre.

Banking services
For shoppers’ utmost convenience, high street banks will provide full banking services and ATMs.
As can be seen from the above, the retail outlets cater to a broad spectrum, with a sufficiently wide variety of products to attract an extensive range of eager customers. More retail outlets are certain to seek accommodation, attracted not least by the extremely favourable tenancy terms and conditions.
With a total area of 17 rai, The Village has provided a lavish selection of greenery and relaxation areas, interspersed with extensive water features, all under the welcoming shelter of overhanging trees and salas.

Weekly events
Furthermore, the centre will be holding different events on a weekly basis big enough to accommodate a circus-like variety, outdoor cinema, music, and the like throughout the day and into the night.
All told, The Village’s extensive facilities will encourage people to stay all day, having all their needs amply catered for and it will provide yet one more compelling reason to come to Pattaya – especially for families and tourists. Ω
