This Spring Jomtien-based brokers Premier Homes Real Estate participated in two property shows in Moscow as part of an international marketing campaign for a new development in Koh Lanta.
This new and exciting beachfront housing project comprising condos, houses and beachfront villas, is called the Thai Island Dream Estate.
The development lies on the west side of the popular Koh Lanta, a picturesque island in the Andaman Sea is not far from Phuket which is among the most beautiful islands in the country. Koh Lanta has been rapidly developing over the past four years and now boasts an impressive infrastructure with all the short-term and long-term services necessary for a foreign guest or resident to have a comfortable stay.
Stunning views
Thai Island Dream Estate includes several types of residential properties within a single project, including beachfront villas and condo apartments and other condo apartments and villas on a beautifully landscaped hillside, enjoying stunning views.
After flying to Krabi Province and visiting the project, Premier Homes decided to join with the developers to present this project in Russia using the language and sales talents of their Russian-speaking agent, Rock D Zulumkhanov.
The first event Rock attended was the Moscow International Investment Show which took place in the T-Module Exhibition Hall in the centre of Moscow on March 13 and 14. This provided a great opportunity for Rock to meet and greet a carefully selected audience of high net-income, prospective Russian clients.
This property show was targeted at a new demographic of Russians with growing disposable income and with a need to be informed and educated on the advantages of international investments.
The show was specially designed to suit the Russian mentality, in that the organisers chose property developments and other investment opportunities that best matched the interests of this particular cross-section of exhibit attendees.
Purpose of the show was to establish direct contact between international property developers and affluent Russian clients who either have some knowledge of international investment opportunities or who are looking for comprehensive information on worldwide investment possibilities.
Luxury properties
Koh Lanta, Thailand, and the Thai Island Dream Estate were the only exhibition participants to represent the South East Asian region and many of the Russian attendees stopped by to ask questions as they were excited to learn more about Thailand and its luxury properties.
The second property show took place from April 22-26 at the Crocus Expo, the biggest exhibition complex in Moscow. The international exhibition-forum “Property Worldwide 2009” presented many of the best residential and commercial real estate projects from across the globe as well as the most promising projects domestically.
Unique venue
Property Worldwide 2009 provided a unique venue and a great opportunity to meet thousands of interested investors from the largest foreign and domestic investment funds, plus companies and banks from all parts of the world.
The international exhibition-forum also held a number of conferences on the global investment climate and “Real Estate of Russia”, which covered the most critical aspects of the development prospects of the local real estate market.
While visiting Moscow, Rock was able to get an insight into the current mood within Russian society in relation to foreign real estate investment. Indeed, one of the main purposes of the visit was to determine the Russians’ attitude towards Thailand as a possible market for such investment.
Popular destination
During the past several years, Thailand has gained a strong reputation as being one of the most popular destinations for Russian tourists, along with Turkey, Egypt and the UAE. The second property show followed the unrest of early April in Bangkok, but, despite that, most Russians still displayed great interest in Thailand real estate.
Many Russian attendees thinking about investing here had several questions, as they still have some doubts and concerns that need to be addressed about the political climate in Thailand.
Among the many questions, the one most often asked concerned issues regarding land ownership in Thailand, as Rock found Russians very interested in purchasing houses.
“All in all, it was a great and informative experience,” said Rock, “and you can be sure many Russian people are now much more aware of Thailand’s beauty and real estate investment opportunities.” Ω
