The Ocean’s Edge (OE)project in Krating Bay has once again earned top marks in the in the Thai category of the Overseas Homes magazine’s annual awards.
Last year OE earned the Gold award in the class covering Thai condominiums. This year, with only one class open to them, they went one step better to gain Gold as Best Development.
OE were also voted second in the overall, worldwide reader’s choice class.
“We were on a shortlist of five for the Thai award,” said Andrew Neely, joint managing partner with Wim Scheggetman in Saraan Lifestyle Development, the developers.
“The independent judge who flew over from the UK was very thorough. He was with us for four-and-a-half hours so we underwent a proper examination.”
Andrew added: “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised for the second year running by such a high profile international awards event.
“Homes Overseas is the most prestigious United Kingdom international property magazine and to receive such an accolade is a testament to the quality of Ocean’s Edge, giving our potential customers confidence in the development.

The awards said of OE: “The judges were impressed by the design and execution of the project, especially by the high quality of construction and interior design. Materials for the structure of the building have been carefully selected to overcome the problems inherent in the location and climate of
the site.
“Overall design places emphasis on the splendid sea and sunset views offered by the waterfront location.
